Odd that the Flyers ignored the 35th anniversary of Kate Smith's first in person singing of "God Bless America" at a Flyers game. On 10/11/1973 she sang before the home opener against the Maple Leafs. Up until then they had used recordings.
By the way, the Flyers beat the Maple leafs 2-0 that night.

Tonight was the first time I've ever seen Lauren Hart sing anything but "God Bless America".
