You see, here's how I feel at work lately. And that's just not attractive or pleasant.
So I'm sleeping in on what I hope will be a fantastic Friday. I'm lazing around as much as I want to. I'm letting somebody else do what needs doing for once.
I'm resting up for the smack-down on Saturday at the Wachovia Center, when the Flyers' open the regular season against the evil, blue-shirted Rangers.
October Flyers.Femme Appearances:
- Oct. 11: ATT Pavilion and Section 209, Wachovia Center
- Oct. 12: Yard sale, Paul's house in Chestnut Hill
- Oct. 14-18: I could tell you, but then someone else would have to kill you
- Oct. 19: 2008 AIDS Walk Philly
Just $40 more to reach my goal for this year's AIDS Walk and a little more than a week in which to find a generous benefactor who can scare up that quantity. It's $500 or bust!

Speaking of Saturday's showdown, what do you think about Sarah Palin dropping the puck? http://www.nypost.com/seven/10102008/sports/rangers/palins_puck_drop_shameful_132939.htm
^Larry Brooks from the Post isn't feeling it
By evil and blue-shirted, I'm sure you meant the greatest team in hockey. That's what I read, anyway.
Kerri, that may be what you read but it isn't what I wrote. ;) We have to schedule that non-partisan meet-up at the Rock.
Re: S.P. - Color me not impressed. I almost considered selling my ticket for equal exchange through a post on here. Then I started thinking about potential reactions by people at the game to her. I decided to go for the potential entertainment value. S.P. may be the most popular hockey mom in the world, but Philly fans have a bad habit of telling people they suck...loudly.
I'm not saying that's going to happen, and I really don't see it as likely. But it would be a shame to miss it.
